Fastient App Review

Simple and easy to use, Fastient is a fantastic app for the basics of fasting. This app offers users a few extra features, but sometimes that's all you need. If you're in the market for a fasting app that enables you to track progress and keep up to date on your personal growth while fasting, then Fastient is a great app for you. It doesn't offer too many extra bells and whistles, but for the low-cost subscriptions that come with the app, that's to be expected.

I became a huge fan of the journaling process throughout the Fastient app review. It was a great way to manually keep track of growth whilst keeping yourself honest every day. The progress bar gave you something tangible to strive towards as you fasted which made the whole process easier. The lack of extra features and personalized fasting plans was cumbersome at times, but as long as you know what to expect with Fastient, the app will deliver.

It's not the most expansive app in the world, but it's also not the most expensive. What you get is what you pay for with Fastient - no more, no less. If you're looking for a simple tracking program that keeps statistics on your fasting, then Fastient is a fantastic choice for you.

Fastient App Pros & Cons

As with every fasting app, Fastient has its pluses and minuses. Here is a quick compilation of what I thought Fastient did well and what they needed to work on. Overall, it's a fantastic all that is designed to help you keep your fasting journey on track - but some things could be improved.

Pros

  • The interactive journal allows you to manually keep up to date with any progress achieved..
  • Low-cost subscription plans that are tailored towards you.
  • An easy to understand progress bar that shows you real-time results as they happen.

Cons

  • Not too many extra features - very simple design.
  • No customizable plans to account for the specific users.

"I love Fastient. There are other apps out there that do the same thing, but I've been using Fastient since before the app (when it was just a website), and now I'm loyal to the brand. 😛 That being said, it does everything you could need it to and the UI is simple and intuitive. For a free app, there is not much more you could ask for." - Austin Sobek

About Fastient App Itself

The Fastient app itself is relatively small and doesn't require too much space. If you want full functionality, you will have to ensure that your phone is up to date - iOS 10.3 and up or Android 5.1 and up. Fastient also offers full cross-platform functionality between phones and computers.
Here is a look at some of the features offered by Fastient:

  • A journaling software that enables users to keep up to date with their progress.
  • A progress bar that tracks your information and pushes you towards your goals.
  • A statistics section that tracks your accomplishments and milestones.

Fastient PRICING BREAKDOWN

The Fastient app offers a unique pricing plan for users to choose from. Most fasting apps with a subscription plan vary their tiers of subscription-based on monthly versus yearly plans. With Fastient, you can choose from the yearly plan or the lifetime option. The yearly option is only $4.99 a year and gets you access to every feature the app has to offer.

The lifetime option is slightly more expensive, but it's still vastly lower than the subscription costs of some competitors. You make a one-time payment of $11.99 for full access to the app for the lifetime plan. If you know that the app is perfect for you and that you'll be using it for years to come, then go ahead and select this option. Otherwise, the $4.99/year might be the better choice as it will take almost three years to justify the lifetime purchase.

One quick note that came up a lot in the Fastient app review process: this is a low subscription cost, but the app itself doesn't offer too many features. For what extra features the app offers, $4.99/year or $11.99 is a decent price.

HOW TO CANCEL Fastient SUBSCRIPTION?

The yearly plan does come with an automatic renewal process so if you decide you're not a fan of Fastient or that the service isn't working for you, you will have to cancel the subscription. Luckily, this can be done via the Fastient website or through the subscriptions tab in the App/Play stores.

PRIVACY CONCERNS

Fastient does a fantastic job at keeping your information safe. It doesn't ask for too much info from you regardless, but what it does keep, it ensures will not be accessed by anyone but you.
