These high-fat, low-carb meals are designed to burn your fat faster while also keeping you full for longer. The intermittent fasting book also has various tips and tricks to navigating the unique road of keto intermittent fasting, and secrets to how you can manage or avoid any side effects while on this diet.
Intermittent fasting and clean eating are two components I've practiced over time and while looking for literature to get me to the next level I'd thought to give Keto or Paleo eating regimens a try. I came across the KETO Intermittent Fasting book (this book I'm rating) to learn more. Honestly, there is so much info in the World Wide Web that it is often frustrating to organize it in a way that is efficient and effective for me to start a plan and quite frankly I prefer to have a step-by-step tool to help me overcome my self-limiting barriers. I will say that this book is easy to comprehend while offering evidence-based information. I am a firm believer in science-based approaches (academic background in exercise science and wellness), but too much mumble-jumble and hard to read "text-like" books bore me. But this book is the best of both worlds: easy and well written. Part1 begins with an explanation to answer: what is fasting? and what is keto? sort of like a myth debunked and be informed about what flexibility of both. Additionally, more details about mindset, overcoming challenges, and examples of eating habits that pair well with a type of fasting. So far I've learned other fasting techniques that I was always confused about so I've been stuck to a 12/8 regimen; there are others to consider that may work best for different body types. Part 2 is the bulk of the book offering easy to make and delicious recipes for all types of eaters: meat eaters, vegetarian, chicken, fish, and more. The menus are also a concern for me since I'm mainly pescatarian and working towards a vegetarian lifestyle and I've found that some books are heavy on cooking with meats. So long story short, great book to have in your library should you be curious about KETO &/ intermitten fasting.
