Vora App Review

Though simple in design, the features offered through the Vora app are quite impressive. When I started the Vora app review, I was put off by the look of the app. It's a low-quality design and some of the functionality of the front-end coding was lacking. However, once you get past the odd look of the app, it's one of the most impressive fasting programs available. There are so many extra features that make fasting simple and fun.

My favorite feature of this app was the community forums that you have access to. It shows that you're not alone in the fasting journey and that others are out there right now fasting with Vora. It's an overall simple app, but one that impresses nonetheless. The features, though they look low in quality, are state-of-the-art and offer users access to some of the best fasting tools available. My Vora app review was certainly impressed by what they had to offer.

On a personal note, I truly didn't think Vora would offer the quality that it did. The look and functionality of the app can be off-putting and might lead you to turn away, but if you stick with the app, it has plenty to offer.

Vora App Pros & Cons

Here is a quick list of what stood out to me throughout the review process. Here are the highs and lows of what Vora has to offer users. There is much more to the Vora app than this list, but these are the highlights

  • Plenty of amazing features that make fasting accessible to all.
  • Offers a community forum so that you can see your progress as well as other's online.
  • Easy to understand progress tracker that shows your growth throughout the fasting process.
  • Low prices for high-quality content.

  • Poor GUI and front-end design can be off-putting for users.
  • The functionality of the app can be difficult and sometimes leads to the app crashing.
  • Changing the date and time while logging fasting can lead to crashing

"Really like the Pre schedule fasting time capability
I had been using another app but they changed it to % of your goal instead of hours. So, I started shopping for a new one, the Vora does have one feature that I require which is the capability to set a future fasting start time in addition to present and past. I will check it out see if it works for me, and update the review later." - John Dillion

About Vora App Itself

The Vora app is a very small program that doesn't take up too much space on your phone. It's only 28.9 MB and requires iOS 9.0 and up or Android 4.1 and up.
Here are some of the features available from the Vora app:

  • Daily heat map that shows how much fasting you do and when you're most active.
  • A community feed that keeps you up to date with the progress of other users.
  • A log of fasting times that occur throughout the week.
  • Tracking stats of your weight loss throughout the fasting process.

The Vora app itself is completely free to download and even offers some features to new users without requesting pay. You're very limited in what is accessible to you via the free version of the app, but it is nice to have access to something as you're testing it out. Many fasting apps require immediate payment for access to any features at all. Vora allows users to test the app before they commit and subscribe to the pro version.

Once you do decide to subscribe to the Vora app, you won't have to pay too much to unlock access to the features. Vora pro only costs AU$4.99 and will open up the entire app for you to use. You'll gain access to the community forums, progress trackers, fasting statistics, and so much more. For the number of features you're getting access to, AU$4.99 is a decent price.

When compared to other, similar fasting apps, the price to feature ratio is pretty impressive. The design of the app is quite poor and off-putting, but the low price enables users to access a wide variety of features without breaking the bank. In terms of bang for your buck, the Vora app is rather impressive.

Luckily, the AU$4.99 price tag is a one-time payment option that doesn't come with any automatic renewals. You don't have to worry about canceling your subscription with the Vora app as there is no subscription process. If you don't like the app after you've paid, you might not be able to get your money back, though.

It's fair to ask whether or not your information is safe with Vora. It's taking information about your body and storing it on an online server which can certainly be worrying. Luckily, this app ensures that your information is protected and won't be sold to any companies or services.
