Our iFasting Tracker Review

iFasting - Simple Intermittent Fasting Tracker Review

Overall, the iFasting Tracker app is a fantastic app for what you're paying. Very few modern intermittent fasting trackers offer a free version so it's great for beginners to test out and get started on. The pro version is incredibly affordable and offers a surprising amount of content for such a low price.

There are certainly some issues with the app that could stand to be fixed, but in general, it's a quality experience. The in-app ads can be quite targeted and get annoying when you're just trying to check your progress, but those go away with the pro version. The customization options are limited as you're only presented with the basic intermittent fasting plans, but the app does its best to provide quality plan content and tracking services.

iFasting app is an incredible place to get started. Track your intermittent fasting and weight loss progress with ease for little to no cost at all. In review, the iFasting Tracker is a quality app that provides the tools necessary to find fasting success.

A Quick Personal Opinion

I do want to emphasize the low price of this app: it's incredible how much content you're receiving for such a low cost. iFasting does - in some ways - rival apps that charge over £50 a year in terms of the tools offered. However, if you're a veteran intermittent faster looking to take your weight loss game to the next level, the iFasting might not be the app for you.

  • Active intermittent fasting tracker helps make the periods of fasting easier

"Best fasting app so far. I've left two others behind due to them becoming slow and glitchy (Vora, Zero) after endless updates that add too much. This app is simple, user friendly, and doesn't bombard you with required clicks to end/start a fast." - Brandon Westmoreland

About the iFasting Tracker Itself

Here is a list of everything you need to know about the app before you download it. This includes important specifications like storage, updates, and content.

  • The app was released in 2018 and is compatible with Android phones
  • Relatively small storage requirements - only 18M in size
  • Requires Android 4.4 and up to operate
  • Offers a free version and a pro version that costs £6
  • Provides an active tracker to keep track of your intermittent fasting periods
  • Offers tons of progress reports and intermittent fasting content

iFasting Tracker PRICING BREAKDOWN

iFasting takes a unique approach to pricing their app. Most intermittent fasting apps break down their services into a pro and basic payment plan that can be paid on a monthly or yearly basis. iFasting, however, structures their payments so that you can pay once for the app, and then you're done. There is a basic version and a pro version, but it's a one-time payment rather than a monthly or yearly subscription plan.

With their basic plan, you get the app and quite a few services including the fasting tracker and a decent amount of intermittent fasting plans. It's a very basic app, but one that still provides all of the necessary tools to find success with intermittent fasting. If you're looking for a free app that enables you to test their services before committing to the full product then iFasting is perfect for you.

With the pro version of the iFasting app, you're getting the full experience and everything they have to offer. You get the tracker, progress reports, meal plans, and forums, all for £34.99 per year! It's an incredible deal, certainly. However, it's not going to be as custom or in-depth as most other paid-for intermittent fasting apps. Those apps require more money for a reason.

PRIVACY CONCERNS

Some customers of the app brought up privacy issues with other apps they've used, and I felt it best to address iFasting's amazing security. First off, your payment information is protected so much that even the app doesn't keep track of it - double encryption. Secondly, your personal information is only visible to you - no one else.
